Oliva in the charmed setting of New Preston village.

O-L-I-V-A the Italian word for olive and pronounced o-LI-va

"The garden terrace of Oliva is as magical as the setting for the Bard's "The Tempest"... The food, the flowers, the restaurant, the view of the sunset after the rain - they were all exotic and romantic."
---The Country Abroad, August, 2002

Outside dining on the terrace...

The original dining room at Oliva, part of the 18th century house that remains, features stone walls, a fireplace and a rustic European flavor while the white walls, high ceilings of the new upstairs feels expansive and features lovely botanical prints by Henry Evans.
A rustic pizza and a fig salad and lamb dish - all specialties of Oliva

"The talented and fearless" chef, Riad Aamar - so designated by Patricia Brooks in the NY Times.

And happy diners!
